RICHARD MADDEN

1917

Richard will look something like this in 1917, clean-shaven

as per a selfie taken in London in early June:

Richard plays Lieutenant Joseph Blake; aka Joe

The film premiered, at the Odeon Luxe in London’s Leicester Square, with a Charity Royal Film Performance on Wednesday 04 December 2019 .  The beneficiary was The Film and Television Charity.

In addition, there were two black tie Gala Performances on the same day, also in Central London.

The film will go on limited release in the US on Christmas Day, with a UK general release date of 10 January 2020.

12:06 minutes ... YouTube presentation from Hollywood Insider ... how the film was made:

No sign of Richard, but interesting none the less ... it would be difficult to show him in this presentation, because that may be a spoiler for those who haven’t seen the movie yet!

Richard plays the role of Lieutenant Blake, the older brother of one of the leading characters portrayed by Dean-Charles Chapman ... in that case, he must use an English accent too:

First Official Trailer for 1917 ... no sign of Richard in this but, as I believe the premise was to shoot the film as a single storyline focusing on the two young men (Schofield and Blake the younger), Lieutenant Blake won’t be encountered until the final scenes of the film:
