The film premiered, at the Odeon Luxe in London’s Leicester Square, with a Charity Royal Film Performance on Wednesday 04 December 2019 . The beneficiary was The Film and Television Charity.

In addition, there were two black tie Gala Performances on the same day, also in Central London.

The film will go on limited release in the US on Christmas Day, with a UK general release date of 10 January 2020.

Richard plays the role of Lieutenant Blake, the older brother of one of the leading characters portrayed by Dean-Charles Chapman ... in that case, he must use an English accent too:
