JOCKEYS’ HIGH JUMP CHALLENGE

Choc reportedly took part in the Jockeys’ High Jump Challenge at the Bicester and Finmere Show on 01 August 2009. I gather this is an annual event at the show, so I’ll have to look out for it next year!

There was a tiny snippet in the 13 August edition of Horse and Hound about the Celebrity Jockeys’ High Jump competition. The jockeys drew lots to decide which horse they rode and then had a 5-minute warm up before the competition began. The winner was point-to-point rider James Jenkins, who cleared 5 foot 6 inches.
